You Can Wear My Hat...
So I figured my desktop background looked a little plain, and decided to make this. Let me know what you think of my work.
SAVE SESSIONS LA!
It was nearly 7-8 years ago when I started djing. Sessions LA was the space that sparked it all. It all began when Michael Nailat, DJ Waxstyles, brought his turntables to the office and left it there for days. It was then where I started to gain interest in turntablism. Since then, the program expanded from djing to producing to recording.
A lot has came out of Sessions LA! A lot of young, inspirational talent from all around the community has been produced from this program, including yours truly, DJ Illogic. This program has kept a lot of youth out of harms way and expressed their feelings through Hip-Hop. Personally, Sessions LA has kept me away from all the negativity from the community, gave me a sense of identity, and continually inspire other youth’s in expressing their talents.
Now, I’m asking you, the community, to help save Sessions LA by spreading the word about this program and contributing to our IndieGoGo campaign. Any donation will help. I would just hate to see this program get suspended due to lack of funds. Please help.
